As we promised, this is going to be a tiny description about us.
We're Carmen and Vicky. We're both Spanish and we've known each other for 13 years now. We're sisters -almost- and this trip is something we've dreamt about for a loooong time (though we're always up for trips to anywhere!). Our group of friends, those "tea girls" are an important part of our lives, and this month without them will be weird, as we always go around together.
Apart from sharing friends, we also have similar taste in boys (cough cough) and practically do everything together (yes, we even go together to the bathroom some times). With just a look we know what the other is thinking. Oh, and we're mental. Seriously, if you see two crazy, LOUD girls around Oxford Street, say hi to us!
When we talk about Vicky, she's studying English at college, next fall will start her second year. She wishes English was her first language and loves reading -from silly romantic novels to deeper ones- and hopes she can move to New York City one day. Audrey Hepburn is her idol and she's in love with so many TV shows it's probably not healthy. She loves sad, melancholic songs -for example, she's recently obsessed with Adele- but when it comes to music, she likes almost everything.
And when it's Carmen, she's studying Biology at college and next September she'll start her third year -she's afraid to even think about it!-. She loves reading, wherever and whenever, she always has a book in her bag, especially whodunit novels or those who talk about those places she wants to visit. Her favourite city is Paris, though she won't say no to any other place in the world! She loves photography and sees herself as the next National Geographic photographer -well, not really but if biology doesn't work out for her, she would like to try!-. Carmen also likes painting, especially her mother's work. And she loves music -what would she do without it in the morning, when she goes to college??-. She likes all kinds, but recently she's been into the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Tal y como prometimos, esto va a ser una pequeña descripción sobre nosotras.
Somos Carmen y Vicky. Ambas somos españolas y nos conocemos desde hace 13 años. Somos (casi) hermanas y este viaje es algo que habíamos soñado durante mucho tiempo (¡aunque en realidad estamos dispuestas a viajar adonde sea!). Nuestro grupo de amigas, las "teterinas", son una parte importante en nuestras vidas, y este mes sin ellas va a ser raro, ya que siempre vamos juntas a todas partes.
Además de compartir amigas, ambas tenemos un gusto similar en chicos (ejem) y prácticamente hacemos todo juntas (sí, incluso vamos al baño juntas a veces). Con sólo una mirada ya sabemos lo que la otra está pensando. Ah, y estamos locas. En serio, si veis a dos chicas histéricas y chillonas por Oxford Street, ¡venid a decir hola!
Cuando hablamos de Vicky, está haciendo Estudios Ingleses en la universidad, su segundo año empezará el próximo otoño. Desearía que su lengua materna fuera el inglés y le encanta leer -desde novelas romanticonas a otras más profundas- y sueña con poder mudarse a Nueva York algún día. Audrey Hepburn es su ídolo y está enamorada de tantas series que probablemente ya no es sano. Le encantan las canciones tristes y melancólicas -recientemente se ha obsesionado con Adele- pero en cuanto a música se refiere, le gusta casi todo.
Y, cuando nos referimos a Carmen, ella está estudiando Biología y en septiembre empezará su tercer curso (miedo le da solo pensarlo). Le encanta leer, donde sea y cuando sea, siempre lleva un libro en la mochila, sobre todo novelas policíacas o aquellas que tratan sobre lugares que le encantaría visitar. Su ciudad es París, aunque no dice que no a cualquier otra parte del mundo. Le gusta la fotografía y se ve como la próxima fotógrafa del National Geographic (bueno, no tanto pero si eso de la biología no le sale bien no le importaría). También le gusta la pintura, sobre todo la que pinta su madre. Y la música (¿que haría sin ella cuando va por las mañanas a la universidad?); le gusta de todo, aunque ahora le ha dado mucho por los 60, 70 y 80.
